Since 2008 Kando Events have established a reputation for producing outstanding corporate events, parties, weddings and bespoke luxury experiences in Verbier and over the Alps.

Our dynamic team of Event Professionals combine a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, passion for service and love for the mountains.

As Verbier residents we know the resort ‘inside-out’ and have an extensive knowledge and local network of locations, venues and trusted suppliers.

We are proud to deliver only the highest levels of service. Whatever the occasion, we will design and execute an elegant and unforgettable event.

Our Story

Our Founder Nicky ffrench Blake spent the first 8 years of her events career based in London organising mass participation sports events, charity fundraisers, international corporate challenges as well as leading expeditions around the world. Nicky returned to Verbier (her favourite ski resort) for a ski season in 2007. Where she saw a gap in the market for a personalised, bespoke service for corporate and private ski trips.

With minimal equipment (champagne glasses, two shovels for building snow bars and IKEA bags for storage) ‘Kando Events’ was born in the winter season of 2008-9.

From day one ‘Kando Events’ have pushed the boundaries of creativity to execute the impossible. We are proud to have organised prestigious events for many leading international brands and discerning individuals over the last decade.

Our Vision

Caring deeply for the future of our fragile planet and humanity we are striving to reframe ‘Kando Events’.

We believe business’s today are responsible for initiating change and making a positive impact.

Going into our 11th year we are looking at making ‘Kando Events’ more conscious in every area of the business. We will be launching our foundation ‘Kando Good’ together with allocating capital to causes close to our hearts and organising fundraising events.

We hope to inspire and influence others along the way, whether it be our clients, suppliers the local community or businesses and individuals further afield.

Conscious Events

Whilst experiencing first-hand the glaciers retreating in our back garden it is our duty to influence positive change. Being a luxury business we are not  perfect but always look at ways to be conscious as possible with our events.

For 2019 we will not be using any single use plastic bottles and will avoid using other single use materials. We are very fortunate to have fresh mountain water and use glass bottles to provide this water for our events. We will be sourcing sustainable products where possible whilst continuing to deliver beautiful events that have a respectable footprint on the planet.

Verbier is a beautiful picturesque alpine village in the Swiss Alps.  A famous ski holiday destination it’s recognised as one of the premier resorts in the world with a famous party scene to match.

Perched on a sunny south facing plateau at 1500m, Verbier is part of the 4 Vallées ski area, with over 100 lifts and a total of 410 km marked ski runs. In the summertime there are 400 km of hiking trails and  200 km of mountain bike trails.

Verbier is 2 hours’ drive from Geneva, 1 hour from Chamonix and 3 hours from Zurich. Both Zurich and Geneva international airports. Private Jets can fly into Sion airport and from there it is possible to transfer by helicopter.
